Almacenera del Agro S.A. (ALMAGRO) was established in Guayaquil on November 30, 1976 to establish and manage Bonded Warehouses aimed at storage, conservation, custody, and handling of merchandise and agricultural products of national or foreign origin, as well as to offer custom services in harmony with the national Customs Legislation.
Its statutory purpose is regulated by the Superintendendcy of Banks, and follows Bonded Warehouse legislation, the General Law of Financial Institutions, and its own Social Statutes.
